Partner Sales Specialist – Channel (Pacific West)

Remote – Nevada, California, Oregon, Washington

Summary
This key front-line sales role reports to the channel sales director and supports the growth of the geographical region including NV, WA, OR, CA, AK, HI. The role involves supporting sales functions and achieving regional growth goals.

Responsibilities:

  1. Work with assigned partners to generate prospective customers through channel campaigns and promotions.
  2. Acquire new partners within the territory.
  3. Provide marketing and sales literature to partners and prospective clients; assist with sales quoting and special pricing.
  4. Respond to partner requests, ensuring proper alignment between field and inside sales in end-user opportunities.
  5. Support named accounts with marketing and sales materials; respond to inquiries regarding products, channel programs, and promotions.
  6. Handle questions, complaints, and service problems professionally; communicate effectively with partners and maintain a positive company image.
  7. Track and monitor partner pipeline activities.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 1-3 years of sales experience in the software industry.
  • Experience working with distributors and/or channel vendors.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based tracking tools; Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to close deals and follow through.
  • Strong telephone presentation skills, active listening, and motivation to create sales opportunities.
