General Purpose of Role
Provide high quality clinical packaging and distribution proposals within expected timeframe. Based on quote requirements, works with various internal departments to deliver Proposals and Change Orders to customer’s right first time. Prepares and presents proposals to customers during customer facing meetings when applicable. Supports Sales and Project Management teams by acting as a point of contact (POC) or subject matter expert for setup and scope of awarded projects.
Main Responsibilities
- Leads meetings with internal departments and externally with clients to discuss expectations associated with Proposals, revisions to proposals and Change Orders.
- Coordinates and leads Strategic Value Add Proposals meeting with Executive Leadership Team.
- Collaborates with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to gather supporting information to be captured within Proposals.
- Works with Sales, Project Management and external customers to resolve issues associated with Proposals or Change Orders.
- Drafts and presents cost analysis and Proposals to Executive Leadership Team and External Customers.
- Functions as an external customer point of contact for Proposals and Change Orders inquiries.
- Acts as a liaison between Project Management and Business Development Managers to support the transition of awarded Proposals into Project Management teams.
- Develops and writes project timelines to be utilized within Proposals.
- Trains new Business Development Associates hires how to review, interpret and utilize information provided within Change Order Forms submitted by Project Management to draft Change Orders submitted to customers.
- Controls and manages departmental Work Instructions for accuracy as processes develop or change.
- Responsible for formally communicating new or changes to existing Work Instructions to Business Development Associates.
- Ensures all BDA’s are trained on the latest methods.
- Must be able to review executed Change Orders and Proposals completed by Business Development Associates for accuracy.
- Proactive in asking questions to obtain answers, collecting business process information, and working with others in a positive and collaborative manner.
- Manages and prioritizes competing requests for multiple parties to ensure all tasks are completed.
- Possesses ability to solve complex problems with minimal guidance.
- Actively participates in drafting Change Orders, Proposals & Revisions to Proposals.
- Knowledge of and adherence to all appropriate PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules.
- Attendance to work is an essential function of this position.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.
- Completing RFI (Owning & driving results through organization of completing non-standard RFI's - not basic questionnaires- identified as a "strategic client or red carpet opportunity")
- Lead meeting in manager’s absence, Assign workload in manager’s absence, and first in line for tradeshows.
Specific Qualifications
- Associate's Degree (or equivalent) in a related field and/or 1-3 years related experience and/or training.
- GSCE Level Mathematical Skills (or equivalent) or proven numerical proficiency.
Specific Knowledge / Skills Competence
- Advanced Computer Skills: Ability to utilize MS Office; including proficiency in Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
- Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs.
- High Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where there is only limited standardization. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions that may be provided in various forms.
