Role Overview
Otis is seeking an installation mechanic to install lifts to the highest quality, ensuring all installations meet global safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Install new lifts with quality and efficiency.
- Work safely in accordance with all Environmental Health & Safety guidelines.
- Stay overnight as required.
- Liaise directly with the customer while on site to build a good working relationship.
- Conduct inspection before and after installation to ensure high quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Qualified engineer with knowledge of lift/elevator equipment and application of elevator engineering principles to installation.
- Qualified to install lifts/elevators to the standards set.
- NVQ Level 3 qualified in Lift Installations.
- Holder of a valid driver's licence.
- At least 6 months of experience in the field of elevators, preferably in assembly or on-site installation.
- Comfortable with plan reading and calculations.
- Appreciation for technical products and new technologies.
- Enjoys manual trades and the satisfaction of completing hands-on work.
