Purpose of the role: The HRBP develops and executes both long-term and short-term organizational strategies that align structure, culture and talent with business goals, while providing individual support and coaching to the leadership team. He/she is responsible for providing expertise and guidance in areas including HR & business strategy alignment, organization design, workforce planning, workforce optimization, employee engagement, talent, culture and change management. He/she aligns the local engagement strategy to business strategy driving culture as a competitive advantage, working with leaders and employees to create a positive and inclusive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders to design and implement the most effective organizational structures, to maximize productivity and team performance.
- Systematically identify and address gaps between the current workforce and the future needs.
- Advise and partner with business leaders on communication and change management.
- Provide strategic coaching to key employees as related to succession planning, career path development, and performance management.
- Partnering with the COEs (Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Change Management, Total Reward).
- Develop and drive strategies to attract, develop, engage, reward and retain strong and diverse talent.
- Has personal ownership for key HR metrics (recruitment, development, retention, etc.) for their client group, making deep dive to root cause and develop and execute appropriate counter-measures where needed.
- Lead talent assessment in the organization, identifying key employee strengths and development needs in order to select, retain and develop key talent.
- Lead succession planning and talent development strategies for the organization, identifying critical roles and preparing potential talent and pipelines.
- Drive and sustain the key processes around engagement, from analysis, communication, feedback and action planning.
- Lead client groups through critical HR operating rhythms such as merit & bonus planning, performance management and Talent Review.
- Collaborate with the COE to ensure effective ER case management and expert advice provided to managers on employee issues including disciplinary and grievance.
- Works with leaders and managers to professionally execute corporate policies and HR programs ensuring appropriate and agreed levels of quality, delivery and cost.
- Partner & manage local labor & employee relations ensuring legal compliance.
