We have an exciting new opportunity at PCE for a Stores Person to work as part of our Operations team.
The Stores Person will need to ensure effective communication within Stores on any PCE issues and be able to complete tasks to a high standard while maintaining process.
The Stores Person will support the team overall across various different tasks, and will need to accurately pick and distribute items to stores and use Fork Lifts (FLT) safely for operations.
Understanding of PCE plant and consumable items will be key to this role in time.
Summary
(Whilst predominately based at PCE's Head office in Tamworth Staffordshire, the role will require regular travel to PCE's construction sites across the UK, therefore a clean and valid driving licence will be required.)

Responsibilities including but not limited to
- Stores
- Responsible for keeping warehouse/stores clean and tidy inside
- Acceptance and distribution of deliveries to site
- Stock control and weekly ordering of consumables and plant equipment
- Using PCE systems for ordering equipment and logging of returns
- Distribution of consumables to site staff and logging of who has what through PCE systems
- Tagging of damaged equipment and recording of how / when / why
- Correct storage of and distribution of COSHH / loose items / materials in line with PCE guidelines
- PPE control
- Performing stock takes as and when needed
- Involvement in planning of plant list picking and demob plans
- Understanding of returns of plant service regime
- Control of area to a high standard and processes always followed to a high standard
- Undertaking PI counts
- Checking of LOLER / PUWER / PAT test items
- Safety
- Responsible for personal Health and Safety at all times on both site and within stores and to work in line with site / task specific RAMS
- Ensure all visitors to stores abide by the H&S rules of the stores area and wear appropriate PPE
- Ensure all fire escape routes within stores are maintained correctly
- All pre use checks and COSHH are controlled correctly
- General Duties

- Ownership and responsibility of PCE equipment / tools / vans
