We have an exciting new opportunity at PCE for an IT Support Coordinator to work as part of our Digital Business Support team. The IT Support Coordinator will be responsible for taking ownership and responsibility for all things related to IT hardware. This consists of all asset management, setup and redeployment, across the company including all administrative related tasks. The role holder will also be the go-to person for IT related issues, offering on the spot support and guidance, primarily steering end users to PCE’s managed services partner. The role holder will support the Executive Assistant in the day-to-day management of PCE’s managed services partner, ensuring that issue resolution is delivered in line with the SLA in place.

Reports to: Executive Assistant

Responsibilities

  • IT Equipment & Asset Management
    • Issue, configure and administer all IT equipment, including laptops, peripherals and accessories
    • Complete device setup, software installation and minor hardware upgrades (e.g. RAM)
    • Manage starter and leaver IT processes, including equipment allocation and recovery
    • Coordinate and deliver new starter IT equipment handovers and inductions at Head Office and on project sites
    • Manage returned IT equipment, including servicing, redeployment, restocking or secure destruction
    • Maintain accurate records on the IT asset management platform for all issued and returned equipment
    • Control IT stock levels, including ordering replacement equipment and managing associated administration
    • Oversee the distribution and return of IT equipment between Head Office and project sites
  • Site & Infrastructure Support
    • Organise and personally oversee IT setup, relocation and decommissioning of site offices
    • Arrange and manage installation of internet/Wi-Fi, Starlink, screens, printers and related infrastructure
    • Provide first-line support for device, hardware, network and printer issues at Head Office and on sites
    • Ensure all IT-related equipment is PAT tested at Head Office and across project sites
  • IT Support & Service Management
    • Manage the BST mailbox daily in line with agreed SLAs
    • Support employees with IT hardware issues by guiding them through correct support channels
    • Assist users with raising and escalating Air IT support tickets where required
    • Track Air IT service tickets and provide weekly service reports to the EA
    • Support wider IT and business projects, including Head Office relocations
  • Platforms, Compliance & Security
    • Work with the Platforms Implementation & Support Coordinator to ensure users have correct systems, applications and licences for their roles
    • Manage software licensing and access control
    • Promote adherence to PCE IT policies across the business
    • Ensure employees understand and comply with cyber security policies and best practice
