Coffee Trainer and Social Enterprise Cafe Lead

Do you enjoy making coffee and want to teach others how to do it well? Are you passionate about sharing your skills and watching others grow? Want to stay connected to the craft and make a difference?

This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes hospitality, understands the magic behind a good cup of coffee, and wants to teach others how to create it. You’ll not only deliver hands-on training in barista skills but also guide learners in running a small café environment, from stock, hygiene, and workflow through to customer service and teamwork.

You’ll be delivering hands-on training to individuals who are building skills to improve their lives. Whether they’re looking for a pathway into work, personal development, or social connection – your energy, passion, and can-do attitude will help make that happen.

About you:

You love coffee, but you love teaching even more. You’re pleasant, encouraging, and know how to break down a skill so others can learn it. You bring a practical, real-world approach to training, including insights into how a café runs day-to-day. You understand the value of skills-building and how it can enhance quality of life.

What you’ll need:

A qualification in Barista/Hospitality or relevant hands-on experience. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) – desirable but not essential. Confidence to lead sessions, mentor learners, and inspire growth.
