The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting a Family Lawyer with a varied caseload including divorce, financial matters, private children matters and cohabitation issues whilst delivering outstanding client care.

Job Responsibilities:
- Drafting legal documentation, court forms, statements and correspondence from instruction, using the case management system ensuring accurate time recording on client matters
- Supporting the Lawyer in charge with the day‑to‑day management of client files
- Preparing court bundles with assistance and liaising with courts, counsel and third parties
- Liaising with clients and contacts both on email and telephone with professionalism and empathy
- Assisting with diary management, preparing bills, and completing administrative tasks
- Attending client meetings with the Lawyer in charge when support is required
Essential Skills/Qualifications:
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple tasks at any one time
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Confident communication skills and a client‑focused approach
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- To retain high levels of confidential information with discretion
- Knowledge of legal and case management systems is preferable
Experience:
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary
- To have a strong understanding of family law procedures, court processes and document preparation is preferable
- Experience within a solicitors’ firm or legal services environment
Job Types: Full Time, Part Time, Permanent.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week.
Salary: £23,300.00 – £25,000.00 FTE, depending on qualifications and experience.
