We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader in the Swale & Canterbury area .
PCAS Kent offers individuals support for living across locations in Kent as well as in their own homes within the community, who are diagnosed with having a learning differences, autism and mental health needs.
We focus on ability not disability and strive to maintain and improve independence through our person-centred approach to support working. Our main priority for this job role is to find people with the right values, behaviours and attitudes that match our own!
Main responsibilities:
• To provide excellent practice leadership to support staff and to model the way of working that PCAS promote.
• To ensure that support plans, risk assessments and other associated support documents are fully completed and reviewed.
• Supervision and appraisal of support staff as delegated by the Service Manager.
• To participate in the company on-call duties as required.
• To oversee key workers and ensure that monthly reviews are completed, and goals set and/or reviewed as appropriate.
• To ensure that all safeguarding requirements are adhered to and met.
• To ensure that log notes are completed and filed in accordance with company policy.
• Any other duties as reasonably expected by line manager.
Qualifications:
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is essential.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a social care environment.
