Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sheppey (Minster on Sea) for a Support Worker. The Support Worker will assist individuals in their daily lives, focusing on fostering independence and improving quality of life.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing practical and emotional support
  • Ensuring safety and safeguarding
  • Assisting with personal care, household tasks, and community activities

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience in Support Work, including assisting individuals with physical, emotional, or learning needs
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication skills to build trust and positive relationships with individuals and their families
  • Familiarity and understanding of safeguarding principles to ensure the safety and well-being of individuals
  • Basic technical support skills, including the ability to assist with technology used in care or communication devices
  • Compassion, patience, and the ability to adapt to diverse needs and situations
  • Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care or a related area are advantageous but not mandatory
