We are in further operation from another facility in the Netherlands. We specialise in manufacturing bespoke PCs, laptops, workstations & servers for consumer, business, and education markets, across the UK & Europe.We are delighted to announce that an exciting opportunity has arisen within our call centre, based in the outskirts of Wakefield. We are seeking computer enthusiasts to join our expanding team of 1st Line UK IT Sales/Support Engineers.The day-to-day workload within our call centre is varied but can often be demanding, especially during seasonal peak times, therefore, we are looking for candidates who will be able to adapt quickly to varying pressure. An ability to multitask, prioritise and organise are key to being successful within this role.A typical working day consists of providing sales advice to prospective and existing customers, alongside order tracking and technical support to our existing customers, through means of phone calls, emails, live chat and remote support. We provide honest advice tailored towards individual needs. We do not ‘cold call’ or pressure our prospective or existing customers.There are excellent opportunities for candidates who apply themselves and evolve within their role as the company continues to expand. The successful candidate will be committed and ambitious for both themselves and PCSpecialist.We are hiring for the following shift:Monday – Saturday08:30 – 17:00 (1 hour lunch break)A fixed 5 day working week. As part of this shift, you will be required to work every Saturday and you will have one day off during the week to compensate. The allocated day off will be confirmed after employment and will generally remain fixed. The company does not operate on a Sunday.Please note, we are based on the outskirts of Wakefield (WF4 4TD), an area which has limited public transportation options.You will:Provide a professional sales and technical support service to new and existing customers through the use of phone calls, emails and live chat.Create and amend new/existing orders.Maintain customer records on our bespoke administration site.Process payments, refunds, and credit assignments as necessary.Liaise with other departments within the company to ensure the customer is getting the best level of service.Take accountability in order to deescalate certain situations.RequirementsActive knowledge on the latest computer hardware.Ability to understand and visualise how computers are configured and built.A good understanding on troubleshooting computer hardware and software.Ability to explain technical jargon to nontechnical customers.Experience working within a high-pressure environment.Punctual, reliable, conscientious and an excellent communicator.Customer service: 1 year (Required)Language Skills and BenefitsExperience using remote support software.Fast and accurate typing skills.Basic networking skills.Technical support: 1 year (Preferred)Company eventsOn-site parkingIncreasing holiday allowance & life assurance for long-serving employees #J-18808-Ljbffr
