Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, with over 300 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.
In November 2022, Netflix launched an ad-supported tier, enabling the delivery of standard :15 and :30 ads. Since then, we've expanded our suite of advertising solutions and have grown our ad-supported monthly active user count to more than 80 million, globally. We are now scaling capabilities that focus on live content, brand integrations, and other opportunities that allow brands to partner with us across an even wider Netflix footprint.
As our Ads program scales, we're building out a team that will help steward and support our go-to-market strategy, specializing in Sales Operations. The position reports to the Director of Market Planning and Operations and is based in London.
Responsibilities will include:
- Partner with sales to build a high-performing sales organization and sales strategy to drive business growth for the EMEA Ads business
- Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis of program performance and track/ensure program and business impact.
- Run the core rhythm of business for the sales team, across forecasting, quota management, business reviews and market planning
- Design and implement consistent ways to manage the sales process.
- Design and execute the GTM of the EMEA sales team including: product, segmentation, service-level, resourcing and tooling
- Define territory/role/channel design, sales process management and improvement, data hygiene, and sales tool development.
- Explore new strategic opportunities to inform the business roadmap
- Build and manage a team of individual contributors
What we're looking for:
- 10+ years of experience in advertising and/or advertising related fields; and/or in Sales Operations teams.
- Must have experience leading and managing a team of individual contributors.
- Deep experience with agency and direct sold sales models
- Familiarity with programmatic advertising, auction dynamics, ad tech and the streaming ecosystem
- A strong attention to detail and eye towards using the 80/20 rule to address problems
- Strong commercial skills and comfort with interpreting large datasets
- Candidates must be able to adapt to changing business needs, work independently, and manage a variety of tasks
- Very strong project management, planning and organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and to deliver under tight timelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build successful relationships and partners at all levels
