We are looking for a skilled and motivated Heavy Vehicle Technician (HGV/PCV) to join our engineering team at our Lincoln Depot. You will play a key role in maintaining our fleet to the highest standards, ensuring safety, compliance, and reliability.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday – Day Shift
  • Participation in an on‑call rota for evenings and weekends

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and inspections on HGV/PCV vehicles
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT and ensure compliance with DVSA standards
  • Complete all relevant paperwork and digital records accurately
  • Respond to breakdowns and carry out roadside repairs when required
  • Work closely with the operations team to minimise vehicle downtime
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as an HGV/PCV technician or similar role
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent)
  • Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
  • Knowledge of DVSA regulations and compliance standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence (HGV/PCV licence desirable but not essential)
  • A positive, reliable, and proactive attitude
