As a result of continued growth, we now require a Design Engineer who has experience of working with stainless steel / sheet metal products within a machinery and manufacturing environment.

The Role
- To carry out design functions using Inventor software
- Production of GA drawings
- Production of manufacturing drawings and BOMs
- Ensure all designs comply with the required contract specifications
- Liaise with suppliers and customers as directed for the purposes of design development and approval
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of designs
Person Specification
- Inventor 3D experience required (SolidWorks experience will be considered)
- AutoCAD 2D experience preferred
- Vault or PDM experience
- Experience of working within a machinery and manufacturing environment
- Ability to produce manufacturing drawings and layouts for sheet metal products
- Knowledge of drawing and design standards
- IT skills – Including Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the field of Design Engineering
