About the role
We are looking for team members who have a great deal of passion in supporting people with a variety of different needs. The individuals we support have a combination of learning disabilities, autism, mental health, and/or physical disabilities, including complex health needs. We are therefore looking for team members with proven existing experience supporting individuals in one or many of these areas, who are able to adapt their support to ensure person centred care that ensures people live not only the lives they want, but the life they deserve.
The individuals we support have differing personalities, characters, interests, likes and dislikes and we are looking for team members who recognise a ‘one size fits all’ approach is not going to work. You need to be adaptable, empathetic, professional, compassionate, and resilient. Most of all you need to be fun and engaging!
We very much value experience in supporting others and warmly welcome people who share our values. Being a Support Worker at PBS4 is not like any other role within social care! Our Support Workers enable the people we support to achieve their goals and access activities of their choosing! It's about celebrating their achievements - regardless of how small these may seem!
