About us…

PBS4 is a values-led social care organisation providing Neurodisability Services to individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and/or challenging behaviours. We support people in their own homes, using Positive Behaviour Support as our framework.

We support 40 individuals across Hampshire, Dorset, Berkshire, Somerset, and Oxfordshire with a workforce of around 280 employees.

Our goal is to help individuals overcome challenges and celebrate their achievements, big or small. We are committed to leading by example in clinical support for people with learning disabilities and aim to raise standards in Positive Behaviour Support.

The role…

We are seeking a PBS Practitioner (RNLD) to support our growth. The role focuses on enhancing our external consultancy and training support, alongside our internal support. Our Clinical & Training team (The Enablement Hub) is a key strength.

We aim to innovate in PBS in the UK, organizing events like the PBS festival, supporting local PBS networks, and collaborating with NHS England and other organisations. The role offers high clinical input and rewarding opportunities to improve lives and support our staff.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a Registered Nurse in Learning Disabilities with experience in Positive Behaviour Support
  • Be confident managing a caseload and conducting assessments (e.g., Nursing assessments, Functional Behaviour Assessments)
  • Share our passion for delivering high-quality Positive Behaviour Support
  • Be a driver and willing to support across various sites
  • Be independently motivated and able to prioritize effectively
  • Work collaboratively with individuals, families, and external organisations
  • Have experience in supported living or social care settings
  • Be comfortable presenting and delivering training
  • Have experience running group sessions and developing PBS plans based on functional assessments
  • Apply PBS approaches for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health diagnoses
