Private Client Tax - Associate to Senior Associate

We’re working with an independent boutique private client practice that is looking to add a Private Client Tax professional at Associate to Senior Associate level.
The Role
You’ll take responsibility for a portfolio of high-net-worth private clients, including trusts, partnerships and non-UK domiciliaries. Day to day, you’ll prepare personal tax returns, business tax and CGT computations, respond to client queries and deal with HMRC on your clients’ affairs. You’ll also support ad hoc advisory work, reporting to a portfolio manager.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a tax compliance background who wants to broaden their experience with a dedicated private client firm and a diverse client base. Support is available to begin or complete your studies.
About You
- Self-motivated, flexible team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work to stretching targets and deadlines
- Experience running the day-to-day compliance affairs of a client portfolio
- Experience supporting ad hoc advisory work
- Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, delivering accurate work in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with clients, intermediaries and internal teams
