We’re recruiting for an experienced Private Client Tax Senior to join one of our leading clients, a Top 50 firm, with opportunities available in London or regional offices in Kent, Essex, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire, offering hybrid working.
About the role:
We are looking for a skilled and client-focused Private Client Tax professional to join a growing and highly regarded Private Client team. This role offers exposure to a diverse and high-quality portfolio of HNWIs, entrepreneurs, trusts and partnerships, combining both compliance and advisory work. You’ll play a key role in managing client relationships, supporting tax planning projects, and contributing to more complex private client matters. The firm offers a supportive and flexible working environment, clear progression opportunities, and the chance to work alongside experienced specialists within the private client space.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of private clients, acting as a key point of contact
- Deliver personal tax compliance and advisory work (Income Tax, CGT, IHT)
- Support tax planning projects and complex private client matters
- Review work prepared by junior team members and provide guidance
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Collaborate with the wider Private Client and senior leadership teams
Requirements:
- ATT, CTA or ACA qualified, or actively studying towards ATT or CTA
- Experience in UK private client tax within an accountancy practice
- Strong technical knowledge with a commercial, client-focused approach
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
