Responsibilities: Production of financial statements together with well-presented working papers ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards. Serve as a key client contact for a diverse portfolio of clients, providing advice and support on financial matters. Guide and review the work of trainees and junior team members, for accuracy and completeness. Preparation of VAT returns. Preparation of management accounts. Utilise accounting software and tools to streamline operations and reporting. Ad hoc specialist assignments as and when they arise. Requirements: Fully qualified ACA or ACCA. Able to demonstrate wide experience and competency in full accounts production from basic prime books and records through to computerised accounting packages. Ability to multi-task and work to budgets. Fully conversant with Sage and QuickBooks software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good English, both written and verbal.
