Responsibilities
- Handling any complaints in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Reviewing the demands and needs of clients and advising on the most appropriate insurances to meet their demands and needs.
- Developing and maintaining a professional working relationship with all clients and providing expert product advice and guidance.
- Ensuring all business activity fully complies with FCA regulation whilst using checklists to support documentation to assist with demonstrating compliance.
- Ensuring bad debt queries are dealt with efficiently and in line with company procedure.
- Responding to client/insurer/third party enquiries by written or oral means.
- Actively securing renewal business by re-broking existing business.

Qualifications
- High level interpersonal skills with an ability to build successful, mutually beneficial business relationships.
- Computer literacy.
- Report writing experience.
- Planning, organisational and time management skills.
- Confidence in being able to communicate to people with various levels of knowledge β face to face, over the telephone and in writing.
- Knowledge of Acturis.
- Experience of working as an Account Handler in a similar broking or sales environment.
- Experience of working to high standards of FCA compliance.
