The opportunity: You’ll take ownership of and grow an established Data & AI recruitment market within a consultancy that has been operating across Financial Services, Insurance and Retail for 25+ years. This is not a warm desk. You’ll generate your own clients and own your own revenue, but you’ll do it with the credibility, infrastructure and delivery capability that most senior recruiters don’t get when they go solo.
The business: Mix of retained and contingent work. Clients are enterprise. Banks, insurers and retailers embedding AI into operations, not start-ups burning VC cash. Top biller last year: £440k. Commission up to 30%, zero threshold, paid monthly. Contract paid the same as perm above 12% margin.
This is for you if: You’re currently billing £200k+ in Data, AI or Analytics recruitment. You’ve outgrown your current platform and want to build something you genuinely own. You back yourself to win new business but want the credibility of an established brand behind you. You want autonomy, infrastructure and uncapped earnings.
This isn’t for you if: You want an inherited desk. You need a £60k+ guaranteed base. You prefer delivery-only roles.
They’re remote-first, but this is a sales role. You’ll build the market, manage the relationships and close the deals. Delivery support is available if you want it (50/50 split).
