PB Psychotherapy based in Widnes is looking for a part-time Associate Psychotherapist or experienced Counsellor to share part time use/hire of a modern office building and Psychotherapy Suite midweek and on Sunday.

Role Description

This is a part-time room hire on-site role for a Counsellor/Psychotherapist based in Widnes. Your responsibilities include:

  • Providing therapeutic counselling/psychotherapy services to clients
  • Maintaining detailed and confidential client records
  • Conducting in-depth assessments
  • Developing personalised treatment plans
  • Collaborating with wider client related systems
  • Ensuring compliance with professional and ethical guidelines

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of counselling techniques and/or psychotherapy methods, and therapeutic interventions
  • Experience in client assessments, treatment planning, and confidentiality management
  • Excellent interpersonal, active listening, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in record-keeping, case documentation, and compliance with ethical standards
  • A recognised qualification in Counselling, Psychotherapy, or a related field
  • DBS Certificate (annually updated) is required
  • Accreditation or membership with a relevant professional body (e.g., BACP, UKCP) is also necessary
  • Empathy, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to build trust with diverse clients is essential
