Parsons Bakery is an employee-owned, neighbourhood bakery approaching its 100th year of serving hand-crafted, high-quality products to our local communities. As we grow and evolve, we are looking for a flexible and reliable Relief Manager to join our team and help support stores across our estate.
As a Relief Manager, you will travel between our bakery stores to cover for management absences such as holiday, sickness, and training. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards, leading store teams, and ensuring a smooth operation during your time at each location. This is a varied and hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys flexibility and thrives in different environments.
Working Hours: Saturdays + Sundays
Travel Requirement: You must have access to a car and be willing to travel across our store locations. Mileage is paid.
Key Responsibilities:
- Step in to manage stores across the estate when the regular manager is away.
- Lead by example to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards.
- Support and motivate store teams, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Manage stock, sales, waste, and store compliance during your cover periods.
- Uphold food safety and hygiene standards.
- Communicate effectively with area managers and head office to ensure consistency and support across sites.
About You:
