Role Description
The Office Furniture Installer is a full-time role based in Stirling, responsible for the safe delivery, assembly, and installation of office furniture and pods at client locations. Day-to-day tasks include loading and unloading your vehicle, transporting furniture to designated areas on site, assembling desks, chairs, storage units, and pods according to manufacturer instructions, and completing fit-outs to agreed layouts and quality standards. The role involves reading and interpreting installation plans, working closely with team members and site contacts, and ensuring work areas are kept clean, safe, and organized. The Installer will also carry out basic checks on furniture for damage, report any issues, follow health and safety procedures, and provide professional, courteous service to clients throughout each project.
Qualifications
- Experience in furniture installation, office fit-outs, or commercial interiors preferred, with the ability to interpret layout plans and installation instructions.
- Practical skills in using hand and power tools safely, performing basic measurements, and assembling furniture to a high standard of workmanship.
- Awareness of health and safety practices, ideally including CSCS card.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with a professional approach when working on client premises and collaborating with team members and site managers.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to handle manual lifting, carrying, and moving of furniture and equipment in line with safe working practices.
- Reliable time management, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a small installation team.
