Paytons Solicitors LLP is a well-established and trusted law firm providing a range of legal services including commercial and residential property, litigation, family law, business law, wills, trusts, and probate. We are committed to clear, straightforward communication with minimal legal jargon to ensure understanding and accessibility for all clients.
We are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive team on a part-time basis (2–3 days per week). This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated private client lawyer looking for high-quality work, genuine flexibility, and a positive working environment within a respected local firm.
You will manage a varied and rewarding caseload, including:
- Wills
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Probate and estate administration
- Trusts
You will work closely with our experienced private client solicitor and two support staff, while maintaining responsibility for your own caseload and upholding the high standards of client care that reflect the firm’s strong reputation within the local community.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Solicitor or experienced Private Client Practitioner
- Demonstrable experience handling a full private client caseload independently
- Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- A proactive and professional approach
- Experience using LEAP software, or similar case management system
- STEP membership or working towards STEP qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
