About Payset
Payset is a UK-based fintech, authorised by the FCA as an Electronic Money Institution (EMI). We provide business accounts and cross-border payment solutions for companies operating internationally.
The role
We are expanding the marketing team and hiring a hands-on Social Marketing Specialist with strong experience in social media marketing and video-led content. Your job is to increase Payset's followers, engagement, and demand by building a consistent content and distribution engine across LinkedIn, Meta, and YouTube. This is an execution role for someone who can identify what will work, ship consistently, and improve performance over time.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day social marketing across LinkedIn, Meta, and YouTube (planning, publishing, community, iteration).
- Build and manage a repeatable content system: pillars, formats, cadence, and a weekly content calendar.
- Create briefs and messaging that turn Payset products and use cases into clear, high-performing posts and videos.
- Drive follower growth and engagement, and convert attention into qualified traffic to key pages.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to source content (product updates, customer stories, comparisons, FAQs).
- Run lightweight reporting: weekly performance summary, what worked/what didn’t, and what you’ll test next.
- Optional (plus): amplify top content with paid social on LinkedIn/Meta.
- Optional (plus): support or own webinars end-to-end (topic selection, guest coordination, landing page copy, promotion plan, post-webinar repurposing into clips/posts, and basic reporting).
What Success Looks Like
- Consistent growth in followers and engagement on LinkedIn and Meta.
- YouTube channel growth and improving video performance trends.
- Increasing qualified sessions and conversions attributable to social/video.
- Webinars (if owned): reliable cadence, strong attendance, and content repurposing that feeds the social engine.
- Clear weekly learning loop: testing, iteration, improvement.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience running social media marketing for a brand (B2B preferred).
- Strong content judgment: understands what performs on LinkedIn and can adapt for Meta and YouTube.
- Able to write clear, simple copy for financial products (credibility matters).
- Operationally strong: planning, cadence, and shipping on schedule.
- Self-managed, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-moving, founder-led environment.
- Able to show a portfolio of posts/videos and the impact they drove (growth, engagement, traffic, leads).
Bonus (not mandatory)
- Hands-on video editing/creation (can produce and ship content independently). Not required if you can reliably manage creators/agencies to deliver consistent output.
- Experience with LinkedIn/Meta paid amplification.
- Experience running webinars (tools, promotion, attendee growth, repurposing).
- Experience in fintech, payments, or regulated industries.
