As our Lead Brand Designer, you’ll own and evolve Paysend’s brand identity, ensuring a cohesive and compelling presence across global markets. Reporting to the Head of Design, you’ll drive the strategic vision while remaining hands-on—crafting high-impact designs that resonate with consumer customers, enterprise clients, and corporate stakeholders alike. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):
- Brand Leadership: Define, evolve, and maintain a consistent visual and verbal brand identity. Develop robust brand guidelines to ensure coherence across all touch-points—consumer, enterprise, corporate, and internal. Collaborate on market research to continuously enhance our understanding of target audiences and the competitive landscape, informing strategic brand positioning.
- Visual Design Execution: Produce and oversee innovative, production-ready digital designs, including websites, landing pages, emails, social media assets, corporate decks, and other marketing materials. Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams to deliver compelling visuals that meet strategic objectives and push creative standards forward within the fintech sector.
- Copywriting and Content Strategy: Write and guide compelling, clear, brand-aligned copy across digital marketing channels and corporate communications. Lead the development of the distinct brand voice and tones that resonate authentically with our diverse audience segments. Drive conceptual development and execution of campaigns, marketing initiatives, and brand storytelling tailored to each target audience.
- Brand Experience Improvement: Uphold and enhance brand consistency and excellence across all customer-facing, corporate, and internal channels. Continuously leverage feedback, analytics, and iterative testing to elevate brand perception, exceed audience expectations, and set industry trends and best practices.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with marketing, development, corporate stakeholders, and executive leadership to deliver outstanding brand experiences. Foster a culture of brand-first decision-making across departments, aligning seamlessly brand and marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
What You’ll Need To Be Successful In This Role:
- 6+ years of professional experience in brand design, digital marketing design, or a related leadership role.
- Proven success in guiding brand-focused initiatives and mentoring designers.
- A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing expertise in visual design, digital branding, and impactful copywriting.
- Expert proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale clearly.
- Demonstrated project management skills, capable of managing multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
- Solid understanding of contemporary digital design standards and trends.
- Proven ability to self-manage, prioritize effectively, and drive projects to completion under tight deadlines.
What will be a plus:
- Previous experience in cross-border remittances, understanding of international payment systems and regulatory considerations.
- Educational background in Graphic Design, Communications Design, Creative or Art Direction, or other related fields.
- Experience with motion graphics, animation, or video editing.
- Experience leveraging Generative AI for branding, including content creation, personalized marketing, and enhancing customer engagement.
- Familiarity with foundational front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience in A/B testing and a data-driven approach to design decisions.
