- Design and refine pricing and packaging strategies for SaaS products across customer segments (SMB, mid-market, enterprise).
- Conduct pricing research including competitive benchmarking, win/loss analysis, and customer willingness-to-pay studies.
- Develop and manage monetization tests (e.g., A/B pricing tests, usage-based pricing pilots) and translate insights into scalable pricing models.
- Partner with Product and Revenue teams to price new features, editions, and bundles.
- Support Sales and RevOps with custom deal pricing, discount governance, and pricing enablement materials.
- Build dynamic pricing models and dashboards to track revenue impact, customer adoption, and margin performance.
- Lead cross-functional pricing reviews and present recommendations to senior leadership.
- Stay on top of SaaS pricing trends, including usage-based pricing, PLG monetization, and value-based frameworks.
- 7+ years of experience in SaaS pricing, monetization strategy, revenue operations, or a related field.
- Proven experience developing and optimizing pricing strategies in a recurring revenue environment.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (Excel, SQL, or BI tools like Looker/Tableau).
- Experience with pricing tools and systems a plus.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across Product, GTM, and Finance.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with an executive-ready mindset.
- Experience with usage-based pricing or product-led growth models.
- Background in B2B SaaS across multiple customer segments or geographies.
- Exposure to investor/board-level pricing narratives
Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the base salary range for this position is $121,700 – $182,500, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible for an annual corporate bonus of 10%. If you are hired at Payscale, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider any internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).
