As the VP of AI & Analytics for Product, Marketing & Sales at Paysafe, you will play a pivotal role in revolutionizing Paysafe\’s business by harnessing data analytics and AI capabilities to drive actionable insights and value creation for both the company and its customers. You will lead the development of a comprehensive data strategy, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive the company\’s next phase of growth. This is a newly created role reporting to the Chief Data Officer that requires both strategic and tactical leadership to build on an existing team of analysts and data scientists to drive strategic growth.

How we work:

We follow a hybrid working model, spending an average of three days per week at our office location. The office is located in Gresham Street next to St Paul\’s cathedral with easy access and transport links via St Paul\’s, Bank, Cannon Street, City Thameslink, Liverpool Street, Farringdon, Mansion House.

The impact you will have:

  • Define and lead the analytics and AI product vision for the Growth Organisation, including the entire product lifecycle from concept to execution, aligning with the company\’s strategic priorities and ensuring alignment and coordination across teams and functions.
  • Partner with product leads, information architecture / data engineering, infosec and privacy, finance and HR to understand their needs, provide data-driven recommendations, and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Drive change in processes and product, based on new AI / analytics products, and support associated business partners in adapting to new mindsets and ways of working, incorporating thought leadership around where and how to deploy which AI / analytics methods for specific business domains.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of c. 17 analysts and data scientists for our consumer business and establish and build out a new team for our merchant business.
  • Develop and implement best practices and standards for data quality, analysis, reporting, documentation and visualization.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision making, innovation, and continuous learning within the analytics team and across the organization in part by pivoting to a data product operating model.
  • Recruit best in class analytics / AI talent and champion right-sized methodologies.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in analytics, AI, and machine learning, and evaluate and adopt new tools and techniques as appropriate.

What we\’re looking for:

  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in analytics, AI, or machine learning, preferably in a consumer or merchant-facing industry.
  • Proven track record of leading and scaling analytics or data science teams, delivering high-quality results, and driving business impact.
  • Proven track record of change management, leading teams through organizational change including the adoption of new technologies, methodologies, or data-driven cultural shifts. An ideal candidate should be skilled at managing and supporting teams during transitions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale analytics projects and budgets effectively. This includes successfully overseeing project timelines, resource allocation and financial aspects of analytics initiatives.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior executives and diverse audiences.
  • Proficient in a variety of data analysis and visualization tools and languages, such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, etc.
  • Master\’s degree or higher in a quantitative field, such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, or economics.
