Senior Product Manager – Issuing

The Senior Product Manager – Issuing is responsible for the end-to-end strategy, development, commercialization, and performance of Paysafe’s issuing products and capabilities.

This role will own products across the issuing lifecycle, helping define how Paysafe competes and grows across card issuing and BIN Sponsorship, value-added issuing services complimenting Embedded Finance solutions.

Operating as the business owner for assigned products, the Senior Product Manager will identify market opportunities, define product strategy and roadmaps, develop business cases, establish commercial models, and lead cross-functional teams from concept through launch, adoption, and ongoing optimization.

We follow a hybrid working model, spending an average of three days per week at our office location.

The office is located in Gresham Street next to St Paul’s cathedral with easy access and transport links via St Paul’s, Bank, Cannon Street, City Thameslink, Liverpool Street, Farringdon, Mansion House.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle and commercial success of assigned issuing products, from market discovery and strategy through development, launch, growth, optimization, and retirement.
  • Define and maintain the product strategy, value proposition, and multi-year roadmap aligned with Paysafe’s broader business and issuing objectives.
  • Identify and validate new growth opportunities across card issuing and BIN Sponsorship, embedded finance, digital wallets, value-added services, customer segments, geographies, and strategic partnerships.
  • Maintain a strong external orientation through customer engagement, competitive intelligence, industry research, and analysis of emerging payments and issuing trends.
  • Translate customer needs and market opportunities into differentiated product propositions, business requirements, prioritized investments, and measurable outcomes.
  • Develop and own business cases, including market opportunity, revenue potential, investment requirements, product economics, profitability, and expected return.
  • Own product commercial performance, including revenue, margin, adoption, customer engagement, and other key performance indicators.
  • Define pricing, packaging, and monetization strategies in partnership with Pricing, Finance, Sales, and other commercial stakeholders.
  • Lead product roadmap prioritization based on customer value, commercial opportunity, strategic importance, regulatory requirements, speed-to-market, and return on investment.
  • Partner with Product Owners, Technology, Architecture, and Engineering to translate product strategy into executable solutions while maintaining accountability for the intended business and customer outcomes.
  • Evaluate and recommend build, buy, or partner strategies based on differentiation, economics, capabilities, scalability, and speed-to-market.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Take a lead role in prospective client discussions to architect best solutions to their Issuing/BIN Sponsorship needs, partnering with Sales and Business Development teams
  • Own product commercialization and go-to-market readiness, including positioning, sales enablement, launch planning, internal readiness, and customer adoption strategies.
  • Support strategic customer opportunities and serve as a product subject matter expert in customer, partner, and executive discussions.
  • Manage and influence strategic relationships with card networks, processors, fintechs, program partners, and other third-party providers.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the global issuing ecosystem, including card networks, processors, BIN sponsorship, program management, tokenization, digital wallets, authorization, clearing, settlement, fraud, disputes, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Continuously monitor product and portfolio performance and recommend enhancements, investments, pricing changes, partnerships, or rationalization to improve growth, profitability, and competitiveness.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Product Management, payments, fintech, banking, or related experience, with meaningful experience in card issuing or payment products strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience owning products through the full product lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of card issuing, payment networks, processors, and the broader payments ecosystem.
  • Experience developing product strategies, roadmaps, business cases, pricing models, and go-to-market plans.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to understand product P&Ls, revenue models, investment cases, and unit economics.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Sales, and Marketing.
  • Experience managing external partners, processors, networks, or fintech providers is highly desirable.
  • Strong executive communication, storytelling, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed organization and influence teams without direct authority.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; advanced degree is a plus.
