Paysafe is seeking a Technical Presales Specialist to join our Sales Enablement team and play a pivotal role in driving strategic enterprise engagements. As the lead technical advisor in the pre-sales cycle, you’ll partner closely with our Enterprise Sales team and collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Client Delivery to shape and advance complex deals. You’ll act as a trusted consultant able to uncover client pain points, lead in-depth discovery sessions, and tailor solution narratives to resonate with diverse audiences, from technical architects to executive stakeholders.
You bring technical fluency, executive presence, and commercial insight. Whether you’re mapping out architecture on a whiteboard with product leaders or conducting deep-dive technical assessments with clients, you thrive in translating business goals into scalable, secure solutions. You’ll design and deliver custom proof-of-concepts across multiple technologies, build flow-of-funds diagrams, and synthesize technical requirements into compelling solution proposals that accelerate deal velocity and client confidence.

How we work:
We follow a hybrid working model, spending an average of three days per week at our office location. The office is located in Gresham Street next to St Paul’s cathedral with easy access and transport links via St Paul’s, Bank, Cannon Street, City Thameslink, Liverpool Street, Farringdon, Mansion House.
The impact you will have:
- Engaged with prospective clients throughout the sales process: understands the client’s business model and objectives.
- Ensures that prospective clients’ needs are correctly understood: proposes appropriate product and technical integration solutions for onboarding, processing, funding, reporting etc.
- Ability to create mock data and simulate payment flows for client presentations.
- Understands the client’s business goals and translates them into effective technical solutions, and communicates the solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Identifies special requirements by prospective clients: initiates internal discussion around custom requirements and collaborates with product and tech teams to evaluate our ability to meet these requirements.
- Support to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
- Collaborates with the Enterprise Sales Team to correctly position Paysafe in the sales conversation.
- Documents solutions to be used for future reference: Technical and non-technical business process and user flows.
- Creates client facing demo applications and contributes relevant content to the developer centre.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support product roll-outs and provide input on future feature sets and capabilities.
- Tracking all Presales Cases in Salesforce.
- Escalating issues and proposing improvements to the Development, Product, and/or Operations teams.
- Providing training to other teams as required.
What we’re looking for:
- Technical Skills: Proficient in JAVA, XML, JSON, REST, and SOAP.
- Strong SQL skills, including authoring ad-hoc queries.
- Experienced with API integration and testing using Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of API authentication standards (OAuth 2.0, JWT) and payment security compliance (PCI DSS).
- Skilled in using Git/GitHub, Jira, and Confluence for collaborative development and documentation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Experience creating and managing demo environments for enterprise client presentations.
Education, Experiences and skills:
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical discipline.
- 5+ years in a client-facing technical presales, solutions consulting, or technical account management role, ideally in payments, fintech, or enterprise SaaS.
- Experience working with payment gateways, eCommerce platforms, and/or retail POS integrations is highly desirable.
- Proficient with Salesforce CRM and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language for diverse audiences.
- Solution driven, able to grasp new concepts quickly and efficiently, able to work alone or in a team.
- Excellent time management, organization, and planning skills; able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Skilled at building trust and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
