Paysafe are hiring for a Tax Director, Americas to join our team here in London.

How we work:

We follow a hybrid working model, spending an average of three days per week at our office location. The office is located in Gresham Street next to St Paul’s cathedral with easy access and transport links via St Paul’s, Bank, Cannon Street, City Thameslink, Liverpool Street, Farringdon, Mansion House.

The impact you will have:

Working collaboratively with the tax and finance function, and reporting to the Vice President of Tax, the Senior Tax Manager will be responsible for:

Compliance:
  • Complete ownership of the federal and state income tax compliance obligations of the U.S. operations, including but not limited to timely filing of extensions, returns, and estimated payments.
  • Complete ownership of the property and sales and use tax filing obligations of the U.S. operations.
  • Complete ownership of all ancillary tax filings, including but not limited to Forms 1042, FBAR, etc.
  • Liaise with outsourced tax advisors in the completion of all Canadian income tax filings and collaborate with finance on GST provisioning and planning.
Reporting:
  • Complete ownership of the quarterly and annual income tax provision for all U.S. entities.
  • Work collaboratively with Tax Director, Reporting & Transfer Pricing to ensure U.S. tax provision is appropriately incorporated into global provision, including all U.S. related footnote disclosures.
  • Liaise with VP – Tax and third‑party advisors in the development and implementation of the Company’s U.S. specific tax strategy.
Other:
  • Develop, mentor, and train staff.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience, preferably with a Big Four firm or with a publicly traded multinational company.
  • Experience with tax provision software implementation.
  • Advanced knowledge of ASC 740, including identifying book‑tax permanent and temporary differences, valuation allowance analysis, identifying uncertain tax positions, etc.
  • US international tax experience, or interest in developing technical expertise in this area.
  • Experience with IRC Sec. 163(j) and Base Erosion Anti‑Avoidance Tax (BEAT).
  • Familiarity with transfer pricing principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self‑motivated, demonstrating true ownership and delivering results in a professional and timely manner.
  • Strong attention to detail and self‑review.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Team player, able to work with various functions across geographies and commercial disciplines.
