Communications Specialist

- Position Summary
Paysafe is looking for a Communications Specialist to join its Global Communications team, reporting directly to the Senior Director, Global Public Relations.
Based in our London or Berlin office hub, this role will support the execution of internal communications, external communications, and corporate responsibility initiatives across the organization.
This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role for a strong communicator who is comfortable working in a fast-paced global environment.
The Communications Specialist will help develop engaging content, support employee communications and events, coordinate media relations activities, and assist in the planning and execution of corporate responsibility programs.
The ideal candidate is an excellent writer, a proactive problem solver, and a team player who is eager to make an immediate impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with media relations activities, including media list development, press release distribution, media monitoring, and journalist outreach
- Support the development of external communications materials, including press releases, executive talking points, award submissions, blogs, and social media content
- Draft and publish internal communications, including announcements, leadership messages, employee updates, and intranet content
- Support the planning and execution of internal events, employee engagement initiatives, and company-wide communications campaigns
- Coordinate corporate responsibility programs, employee volunteering activities, charitable partnerships, and community engagement campaigns
- Manage project timelines and communications calendars to ensure activities are delivered on schedule
- Partner closely with Marketing, People, Legal and other business leaders to ensure communications are accurate, timely, and aligned with company objectives
- Monitor communications performance and provide reporting on internal engagement, media coverage, and participation metrics
- Maintain and update communications resources, distribution lists, content repositories, and stakeholder materials
- Provide administrative and logistical support for communications initiatives as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or educational degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 2+ years of experience in communications, public relations, employee communications, corporate responsibility, marketing communications, or a related field
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Experience drafting content for corporate, employee, or media audiences
- Experience supporting events, campaigns, or stakeholder engagement activities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Power Point, Word, Teams, and Share Point
- Experience working in a global or matrixed organization is preferred
- Familiarity with media monitoring, communications, or content management tools is an advantage
