Summary

Paysafe is seeking a Relationship Manager to join our Online Trading Team. Reporting directly to the VP of Online Trading, this role is focused on delivering exceptional service and strategic support to our CFD, FX, and Online Trading merchant accounts. The Relationship Manager will be instrumental in cultivating strong, long-term partnerships and driving the growth and optimization of existing portfolios.

How we work:

We follow a hybrid working model, spending an average of three days per week at our office location. The office is located in Gresham Street next to St Paul’s cathedral with easy access and transport links via St Paul’s, Bank, Cannon Street, City Thameslink, Liverpool Street, Farringdon, Mansion House.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Paysafe’s product suite, including Acquiring, Digital Wallets, and other payment processing solutions.
  • Deliver exceptional service and support to merchant accounts, handling both routine operational requests and complex projects or integrations.
  • Gain insight into each merchant’s business model to effectively position and upsell Paysafe’s solutions, driving portfolio growth and optimizing payment performance.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to create tailored marketing initiatives that enhance merchant partnerships where a strong business case exists.
  • Achieve revenue targets within assigned accounts through strategic relationship management, consultative engagement, and proactive leadership.
  • Monitor merchant processing activities regularly, analyze trends, and communicate key insights to clients to support informed decision-making.
  • Conduct periodic account review meetings to maintain strong client relationships, address issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide merchants with clear, accurate guidance on industry regulations, compliance requirements, product updates, and project milestones.
  • Partner with internal teams—including Product, Risk, and Marketing—to resolve merchant inquiries and relay valuable feedback on customer needs and preferences.
  • Share timely and relevant market intelligence within your sector to inform and shape future marketing and product strategies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in account management, relationship management, customer success, sales, or business development, required—preferably within CFD, FX, Online Trading, or related sectors.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for in-person client meetings and networking.
  • Strong customer focus with a proven track record of supporting large merchants, growing existing portfolios, and consistently exceeding revenue targets.
  • Commercially savvy with strategic thinking skills and the ability to identify new business opportunities.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently, with excellent organizational, time management, and communication abilities.
  • High level of enthusiasm and a strong work ethic suited to a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with CRM systems or proprietary software is a plus.
  • Skilled in drafting proposals and delivering client presentations—considered a valuable asset.
