My client has identified the need for a Payroll Supervisor to join the payroll team on a 12 month fixed term basis. We therefore seek an experienced and responsible individual, with enthusiasm and ability to take on new challenges and help support the payroll function.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing a portfolio of clients
- Reconciling payroll to client data
- Supporting team members
- Preparing payroll journals
- Reconciliations
- Preparing BACS files
- Administering Pension Auto-enrolment
- Producing and distributing pension scheme returns
- Dealing effectively with queries from clients
- Assisting with onboarding new clients
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Able to calculate tax, NI, pensions, etc. manually
- Good working knowledge of statutory payments
- Excellent communication skills
- MS Office (intermediate Excel)
