Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a large organisation on the Wirral who are recruiting for a Payroll, Compensations & Benefits Advisor to join their team. They offer an excellent working environment, work-from-home options, and fantastic benefits.
Key Duties/Tasks:
- Support the busy payroll department with high volume starters and leavers
- Utilize technical skills including Resourcelink System & Excel
- Experience dealing with multiple payrolls of varying shift patterns
- Manual processing requiring strong Excel skills
- Processing compensations and benefits (approx. 25% of role)
- Provide comprehensive advice to employees regarding payroll queries
- Ensure timely payments, including benefits
- Experience with Zellis/Resourcelink system is preferred
Desirable skills and attributes:
- Minimum 2-3 years industry experience
- Experience in benefits or compensations essential
- Previous payroll experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments
- Attention to detail
- Teamwork orientation
- Strong basic math skills
- Excellent communication skills to handle queries
- Proficiency in Excel
- CIPP qualification is advantageous but not essential
Benefits:
