My client, an exciting high growth fintech organization, have an urgent need for an interim Payroll Manager for a period of 6 months to cover the current Manager who will be working on projects. Below is an overview of the duties:
- Process the payroll for 500 monthly employees
- Ensure all new legislation and government requirements are met including existing and new company reporting requirements (e.g. Gender Pay Gap) and monitor for National Minimum Wage adherence
- Work with the relevant HR teams to ensure starters, leavers and pay changes are processed accurately
- Liaise with key stakeholders across the business to ensure payroll information is completed accurately and relevant reports are issued
- Updating of PAYE coding change notices and process HMRC Payroll related returns
- Ensure all payroll records are GDPR compliant
- Send on P45s and last payslips to all leavers in a timely manner
- Ensure all management reporting is completed to deadlines
- Process charity giving via Give As You Earn payment (GAYE) scheme
- Ensuring all Tax Year-End procedures are run including P60, P11D
- Respond to employee queries
- Identify improvements to payroll related processes
