TO ASSIST IN THEIR WATFORD TEAM IN HELPING TO GROW THE FIRM, THE DUTIES YOU WILL CARRY OUT ARE:\\n\\n * Working closely with the Tax Principals and other members of the team to achieve results and create an excellent team environment.\\n\\n * Liaising with and meeting clients to understand and satisfy their requirements.\\n\\n * Preparing personal, partnership and trust tax returns for some of the Firm’s more complex clients.\\n\\n * Reviewing personal tax returns, advice or other technical work prepared by junior members of the team.\\n\\n * Identifying tax planning opportunities, advising clients and helping to implement chosen options.\\n\\n * Assisting and dealing with HMRC enquiries and compliance checks.\\n\\n * Working together with multiple teams and Principals, as necessary, across the firm on ad-hoc advisory work in order to deliver solutions.\\n\\nIDEALLY YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:\\n\\n * CTA qualified or equivalent.\\n\\n * 2+ years post qualified experience.\\n\\n * Experience gained in a personal tax practice.\\n\\n * Be an excellent team player with good interpersonal skills and an ability to manage junior team members.\\n\\n * Ability to work on a portfolio of clients, taking responsibility for compliance work and identifying tax planning opportunities.\\n\\n * Good IT skills and ideally familiarity with Digita tax software.\\n\\n * Up-to-date technical tax knowledge evidenced by recent training and experience.\\n\\n * Ability to communicate well with clients and colleagues.\\n\\nBENEFITS AND EMPLOYMENT DETAILS:\\n\\n * Full time role – Monday to Friday (flexible time policy – combination of office/home working).\\n\\n * Remuneration will be dependent on experience. Right to work in the UK required.\\n\\n * The package will include:\\n\\n * Annual Christmas Bonus equivalent to 1 week’s salary.\\n\\n * Salary Sacrifice Pension Scheme all staff are auto enrolled. (Employer: 5%; Employee:3%) subject to eligibility.\\n\\n * Private Medical Insurance following completion of 3 months service (this is a taxable benefit).\\n\\n * Death in Service scheme cover (4x salary).\\n\\n * Group Income Protection Scheme (non-contributory) following completion of 3 months service.\\n\\n * Annual Leave will be 25 days per annum (pro rata).
3 days are normally taken at Christmas/New Year
