We are looking to recruit an experience HR Advisor to join a growing National HR Department, take responsibility for supporting, advising and guiding employees, Managers and Partners on all aspects of people management in line with the Firm’s objectives. To support the senior HR team and act as a trusted HR Advisor.\\n\\nResponsibilities:\\n\\nKey responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\\n\\nBuild, nurture and maintain effective working relationships across the Firm.\\n\\nOffer advice to employees, Managers and Partners related to all aspects of people management.\\n\\nManage various HR queries throughout the business.\\n\\nSupport and update the senior team on all employee relation matters.\\n\\nProactively deliver commercial HR solutions through our Firm wide processes, policies and procedures.\\n\\nSupport the senior team in enhancing positive business performance.\\n\\nMonitor, review and update HR policies in line with current legislation.\\n\\nSuccessfully support on processes such as family friendly policies, welfare, flexible working and absence management.\\n\\nUpdate the HR database as appropriate.\\n\\nCoach and mentor junior members of the team.\\n\\nTo work with all parts of the National People team to deliver the above and communicate initiatives/issues as appropriate.\\n\\nDeal with various HR queries throughout the business.\\n\\nManaging employee and Manager relationships, responding to any queries or problems that they have and managing their expectations.\\n\\nDrive the business performance in relation to the Firm’s objectives.\\n\\nTechnical skills, experience & knowledge:\\n\\nSupport Managers through the Firm’s disciplinary and grievance process.\\n\\nStrong and sound knowledge of current legislation and proposed future changes.\\n\\nAdvise the Partners and Managers on best practice around people matters.\\n\\nTo manage day-to-day work in conjunction with colleagues, on strategic HR projects.\\n\\nTo work with the National Recruitment team on known upcoming vacancies/resource issues.\\n\\nTo work with the National People Development team on known training needs.\\n\\nDevelop and support on all aspects of the Firm’s people related policies.\\n\\nSupport the senior team on restructure, reorganisations and redundancies.\\n\\nSupport the senior team on cultural change and manage change programmes.\\n\\nPrevious experience in using HR database systems.\\n\\nAble to manage and utilise the full Microsoft package.\\n\\nSound Judgement and problem-solving skills.\\n\\nPatience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.\\n\\nability to work well under pressure, to juggle multiple tasks and to prioritise your workload.\\n\\nStrong organisational, planning and administration skills.\\n\\nThe ability to motivate and manage staff.\\n\\nProfessionalism and an overall positive attitude.\\n\\nInterpersonal skills to form effective working relationships with people at all levels in the organisation.\\n\\nAnalytical skills for interpreting employment-related data.\\n\\nIntegrity and approachability, as Managers and employees must feel able to discuss sensitive and confidential issues with you.\\n\\nRequired Skills & Qualifications:\\n\\n * Minimum of 4 years generalist HR experience at Advisor level or above.\\n\\n * CIPD level 5, working towards level 7.\\n\\n * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.\\n\\n * Able to make a persuasive, clear presentation of ideas both in writing and verbally, to influence others and gain acceptance; creating a positive impression on others.\\n\\n * An ability to measure commercial risk ensuring that the correct decisions are made for the business in line with current legislation.\\n\\n * An ability to promote the People department positively to the Firm
