Position Overview
The Specialist I, Merchant Implementation will focus on proactively helping the customer succeed. They will partner with the merchant post-sale and perform onboarding, system implementation, and training. They will identify and address problems that prevent merchants from reaching their goals, creating real-time visibility into core issues and coordinating resources to help customers overcome challenges. The primary focus is to enable merchants to process transactions quickly and efficiently.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Onboard and train merchants on Payroc products and services.
- Book installation and training appointments.
- Collaborate with sales agents and internal teams.
- Monitor processing and non-processing merchants.
- Identify gaps and contribute to process improvements to decrease MTTP.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of functionalities for all systems used by the Merchant Implementation team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Finance preferred.
- Experience in a client-facing, support, or technical role.
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Professional management of difficult or emotional merchant-facing situations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
