About the role
PayPoint is looking for a commercially driven, sector-experienced leader to take ownership of our growth within the UK housing market. As Head of Commercial – Housing & Built Environment, you’ll define and deliver our strategy across housing associations and local authority landlords. This is a highly visible, senior role where you’ll lead complex deal-making, shape innovative payment solutions, and build long-term partnerships across the sector.
What you’ll be doing
- Own and deliver PayPoint’s commercial strategy across the housing sector
- Identify, develop and close large, complex enterprise opportunities
- Act as senior commercial lead for key, high-value housing accounts
- Sell integrated payment solutions including payments, Open Banking and settlement services
- Work closely with product, technology and operations teams to shape sector-specific propositions
- Build and maintain a strong, high-quality sales pipeline
- Lead negotiations on major frameworks and long-term contracts
- Manage and develop a small team, driving performance and exceptional client delivery
- Represent PayPoint at industry events, strengthening our profile in the housing sector
- Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for private and commercial property sectors
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in a senior commercial or enterprise sales role within B2B services
- Strong understanding of the UK housing sector; an existing network across Housing Associations is highly desirable
- Demonstrated success in winning and closing large, complex deals
- Experience managing long sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
- Background in payments, Open Banking or regulated financial services is advantageous
- Previous line management experience, with a passion for coaching and developing teams
