Warehouse Team Lead

Role Purpose

To lead and motivate a small team of warehouse staff, monitor performance and stock levels whilst ensuring duties are carried out in line with company policies and procedures.

Hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 4.15pm in Welwyn Garden City AL7 1EL

Key ResponsibilitiesSupervision of staff working in the workshop and warehouseHealth & Safety lead for day to day workshop and warehouse activitySet and monitor targets3rd party storage transfersStock counting, inputting, ordering and adminOversee terminal repairs, refurbishment and breakdowns.Support change and new initiativesIdentify areas for improvementProvide support for the Retail Distribution Manager where/when requiredEssential Requirements for the RoleWarehouse and Logistics management experienceEffective people managementStock and database management experienceExcellent Microsoft Word, Excel and database management skillsAbility to manage production activity and set targetsGood communication and organisational skills
