To support efficient functioning of warehouse operations with picking and packing orders for dispatch, receiving goods and storage. Based on performance the successful candidate will be given the opportunity to progress into a refurbishment role as a Terminal Technician after 6 months.
Monday - Friday 8am - 4.15pm in our Distribution Center in Welwyn Garden City AL7 1EL
Responsibilities- Accurately pick and pack order for dispatch.
- Collaborate with team members to meet productivity targets and deadlines.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as hand pallet trucks/forklift trucks (training provided).
- Receive incoming shipments, unload deliveries, and check goods against packing slips or purchase orders.
- Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
- To undertake training in device refurbishment.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and database management skills.
- Ability to work both part of a team or individually.
- Forklift Truck experience preferred but not essential.
