Role Overview
The Marketing Manager for Payments and Banking is responsible for executing marketing activities for PayPoint to corporate clients, driving leads and revenue for the business. The ideal candidate will have experience in a B2B marketing role developing and executing marketing campaigns across a variety of channels and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

This role is a hybrid role based at our head office in Welwyn Garden City AL7 1EL.

Responsibilities:

  • Support creation and lead execution of the company’s marketing & PR plan for corporate clients that positions PayPoint Group brands as strategic partners for providing omnichannel payments solutions and platforms.
  • Work closely with the business heads for the Payments & Banking division, developing and executing marketing plans that support the strategic and operational plans for each division as well as holistically, driving sales and adoption via multiple channels.
  • Manage marketing campaigns, including planning, execution, and evaluation, working with the wider Marketing team to deliver them.
  • Work with the CRM team (via Salesforce, and other MI) to track and record leads and sales, brand awareness and perception, and to make proactive recommendations of sources of additional growth.
  • Support development and management of the PayPoint websites and content, working closely with the Creative, Digital and UX teams.
  • Create and produce pitch, tender and bid documents and presentations that are clear, concise, persuasive and tailored to the specific client or opportunity.
  • Attend industry events and promote PayPoint services to potential clients and partners.
  • Track and analyse marketing data to measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.
  • Brand ownership, ensure brands are expressed in a consistent way internally across all touchpoints.
  • Support execution of PR strategy with day-to-day ownership of overall PR and communications for the corporate audience.
  • Understand and adhere to Data Protection legislation and guidelines and ensure all marketing communications adhere to relevant legal requirements.
  • Work alongside relevant business partners and Finance team to ensure correct tracking and accountability across all marketing budgets.

Candidate Profile
Essentials:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing.
  • Positive, self-starter attitude and desire to learn.
  • Experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns across a variety of channels, including digital, social, and print.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience within the payments and banking/corporate rewards and engagement industries.
  • Previous experience of working with Umbraco, Salesforce Account Engage and MailChimp.
  • Degree, recognised marketing qualification or relevant industry experience.
