Overview
Senior IT Recruiter at the PayPoint | We\βre hiring at the PayPoint Group. Main purpose of role: to manage the support and administration of our Finance systems, working with the Finance department to ensure their systems are robust and reliable. To support the Finance Systems team, IT teams and/or third-party suppliers on changes to the Finance Systems including system patches and upgrades.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the support and maintenance of third party finance specific systems, including for example banking applications and accounting packages. Activities include:
- User set up and maintenance
- Administration tasks including system setup and configuration changes
- Assist and train new users in how the systems are used where needed
- Checking and reconciling data to ensure it flows accurately between systems
- Provide end-user support, answer questions and resolve issues, escalating to 3rd party or internal IT support teams as needed
- Managing problem/issue fixes with related 3rd party suppliers or internal IT teams
- Scheduling and managing system patches, upgrades/releases and hardware improvements with assistance from related IT teams, including regression testing
Qualifications and Experience
- Provision of system support to Finance teams
- Very strong IT skills and Excel knowledge
- A part qualified, qualified by experience or fully qualified accountant
- Microsoft Business Central experience
- Payments/BACS experience
- Experience working in a regulated business
- VBA/SQL experience

Location and Working Pattern
The majority of this role will be on site (Hybrid 2 days per week) at our bright and modern offices in Welwyn Garden City, with some flexibility to work from home.
