Why are we recruiting?
We are passionate about our retailers at PayPoint; they are at the heart of our business, and we always want to ensure we deliver exceptional customer service. We have a Contact Centre based at our head office in Welwyn Garden City, but we also encourage part-time home working so you can fit work around your home life.
This is a permanent full-time role paying £22,700 per annum. Monday - Friday 9am - 5.15pm with one in every 10 weekends.
What will you be doing?
You will be listening, empathising, and finding solutions to the problems and challenges faced by our retailers every day. You will be managing queries via email, calls, and audio messages. Our aim is to get those retailers back to serving customers like you and me.
We understand you may not have done a job like this before, so we will give you some great training and make sure you have a buddy, senior or team leader available to help with your questions. Once you feel comfortable and understand the different PayPoint products, we will get you on the phones helping retailers and making a real difference. You will be listening to their queries, problem-solving, and inputting data into an online system. The pace is fast, so we need people who are driven, focused, and want to succeed.

Experience working in a customer-focused role, whether it be in retail or hospitality. Some of our best people have either worked part-time or full-time in well-known shops, pubs, and restaurants. Where you can expect to move to once you have mastered a Retail Service Adviser role?
If you stay within the Contact Centre, we have Senior Retail Service Advisers and Team Leaders. If you choose to progress out of the Contact Centre, people have moved into Retail Operations, Parcels, Retail Collections, and IT. If you decide to upskill, you could move into a junior finance role or an administrative role in a client team. If you decide to leave PayPoint, our people have moved into all kinds of customer service roles or administrative roles and even joined the police force.
