This role is a hybrid role with 2 days a week in our Chapel Street office in Liverpool. To provide support to the Social Media Manager in the implementation of an annual Social Media strategy which builds our external perception, awareness and engagement with the Love2shop brands.
Creation of βon brandβ and compliant content to support seasonal campaigns and product launches for all other marketing channels.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Contribute to a planning calendar of activity and content that will improve perception and build awareness of the Love2shop brands and increase customer engagement.
- Create and post content on our social media platforms, working closely with the Social Media Manager to ensure messaging is innovative, relevant, on brand and of high quality.
- Monitor social media channels on a day-to-day basis, facilitating interaction, conversation and ongoing sharing of content with the target audiences.
- Assist in maintaining and improving engagement and reach levels with our customer base.
- Assist in providing post campaign analysis with clear recommendations for improvements.
- Working with the wider marketing team, create content for integrated marketing campaigns.
- Work with a network of influencers to further enrich content and reach.
- Collaborate with digital marketing and web content to integrate activity that aids SEO and builds online links.
- Be a brand guardian: ensure a consistent tone of voice, look and feel is presented for each of the brands.
- Working with Legal and Compliance, ensure content and communications are compliant with FCA (where applicable) and provide a clear representation of the customer offer/terms and conditions.

Technical Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Experience Needed):
- Excellent copywriting skills with demonstrable ability to adapt tone of voice.
- Demonstrable understanding of social media channels including Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, X and how they are used to drive customer engagement.
- Comfortable in front of and behind the camera for reactive social media content.
- Comfortable creating social-first short form video content on platforms such as CapCut and TikTok.
- Experience of implementing and monitoring social campaigns.
- A passion for social media and online culture.
- Superb communication skills with ability to communicate across all levels and develop relationships with key internal and external contacts.
- Knowledge with social tools; Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, CapCut and Canva an advantage.
- Educated to degree level with a marketing or business qualification desirable but not essential.
