We’re looking for a proactive Assistant Management Accountant to join our Finance team and support the delivery of accurate, timely and insightful management information. This is a great opportunity for a part-qualified accountant who enjoys working with detail, building relationships across the business and using financial information to help stakeholders understand performance, manage costs and make better commercial decisions.
In this role, you’ll support month-end reporting, prepare journals, complete variance analysis, assist with cost centre reporting, maintain balance sheet reconciliations and contribute to forecasting, budgeting and audit activity.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Experience in a finance, management accounts or analytical accounting role
- Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA, or actively studying towards a recognised accounting qualification
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems and data
- A good understanding of month-end processes, journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
- A proactive, organised and analytical approach
