We’re looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our Retail Distribution team in Welwyn Garden City.
This is a varied role where you’ll help keep our warehouse running smoothly by picking and packing orders, receiving deliveries, checking stock and supporting the safe and efficient movement of goods.
- What you’ll be doing
- Accurately picking and packing orders ready for dispatch.
- Working closely with your team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
- Using warehouse equipment such as hand pallet trucks and forklift trucks, with training provided where needed.
- Receiving deliveries, unloading goods and checking items against packing notes or purchase orders.
- Carrying out regular stock checks and supporting inventory counts.
- Learning how to support device refurbishment as part of your training.
- Following health and safety guidelines to help maintain a safe working environment.
- What we’re looking for
- Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused approach.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in doing things accurately.
- Basic Microsoft Word, Excel and database skills.
- The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Nice to have
- Forklift truck experience would be useful, but it’s not essential as training can be provided.
