Join PayPoint as a Salesforce Engineer on a fixed term contract (1 year). As a Salesforce Developer, you will be hands-on working with Delivery Managers to develop innovative cloud-based applications that will unlock new efficiencies within the business and create momentum for their continued growth. You will evangelise Salesforce within the company and work with the Business stakeholders and Delivery Team to ensure requirements are delivered in a timely and efficient manner using agile principles.

Responsibilities:- Maintain responsibility for the design, development, unit, and integration testing of all new and existing code.
- Develop and apply advanced Salesforce functionality to solve business problems and create customised solutions on the Force.com platform.
- Actively seek out opportunities to leverage Salesforce, driving productivity gains for a Sales & Support team.
- Understand Salesforce.com data model and how and when to create custom objects, junction objects, and other model items.
- Maximise the value from Salesforce and make decisions on in-built vs custom build solutions.
- Continuously expand Salesforce knowledge and leverage new capabilities and features to meet business needs.
Good knowledge around Salesforce Development and configuration experience coupled with solid understanding of Agile methodologies. You will have good integration experience, particularly with contact centre, financial, and billing tools. You are inspired by excellence, forward-thinking, and willing to collaborate. Be the promoter of industry best practices and frameworks, and use your analytical mind with great attention to detail. Most of all, we would like you to be open to new ideas and feedback, with a realistic view of your strengths and weaknesses.
Technical skills and competences:- Knowledge and experience with Salesforce.com platform.
- Practical experience with Apex (triggers, batches, integrations, best practices).
- Understanding of Object Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, and coding standards.
- Good understanding of declarative tools like Process Builder and Lightning Flows including when to use them and their limitations.
- Knowledge of Lightning framework including Aura components, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Sales and Service clouds.
- Salesforce Admin experience.
- Salesforce Lightning exposure.
- Experience with Pardot.
- Experience with CPQ.
- Good knowledge and experience with deployment process in Salesforce (sandboxes, ANT tool, GIT, data loader, manual steps).
